One of the awesome things about having a journal, online or otherwise, is being able to look back and observe the progression of one’s life and personality over time. The public blog part just means that you all can laugh at the awkwardness with me. I’ve had this blog in a couple of different forms for about five years now, give or take sporadic posting here and there. During those five years a lot has changed in my life. Who knows what this blog will witness in the future, but thank you for coming along for the ride.
About me: I am a recent MBA grad, originally from California, raised on good eats and snappy retorts. I usually fall somewhere between an early adopter and the early majority. I’m an ENFP (though the T/F line is a little blurred). I’m on the Capricorn/Aquarius cusp. Apparently, I like gray areas.
Professionally, I specialize in marketing, communications, social media, strategy, business development, consumer insights, relationship management, and general wizardry. Personally, I love food, technology, art, creative pursuits, and beautiful things. I believe in leaving the world a better place than you found it. I have the same philosophy for borrowing things.
You can follow me on Twitter: @hungrycook. You can email me at: hungrycookblog (at) gmail.com.
I make jewelry and run branch+beam jewelry on Etsy. I am also a member of the Clever Network. You can click on that snazzy badge below to find out more about what that means.

Here are what previous “About Me” posts said:
(circa 2008; i.e., around the beginning of b-school and my big move from CA to MA)
“My name is Ana and I’m embracing the dorkdom. What started out as a boring little food blog (really, a way for me to save and access some of my favorite recipes) is becoming a real, grown up, personal blog. I may be moving across the country, but I’ll always be here on the internet.”
(circa 2005)
“Welcome to my modest little website. Here’s the deal – I love food. Love to eat it, make it, watch it on TV, shop for it, and talk about it. This site is about sharing experiences with food, so please feel free to jump on in!”
