Pretty Little Things

I’ve been tinkering with my jewelry creations again and have some new pieces to share with you. I also have a big favor to ask! Check out these shots and then give me your advice….

I made this necklace using silver findings and three pretty turqouise-range glass beads. One is a square frosted glass bead, one is a shiny teal cylinder, and one is a perfectly clear pale blue teardrop shape. They’re joined together and hung on a sterling silver petite ball chain.

This little guy is far more whimsical – he’s an antiqued brass birdie carrying a red glass heart for someone special, and he’s hanging from an antiqued brass double loop rolo chain. Cute, no?

So, now, onto the favor!

I’m opening a new Etsy shop… for reals this time! (The last attempt was thwarted by my personal Christmas craft crunch.) I was going to name the shop after this blog, but after thinking about it I’m not so sure that’s a good idea. Jewelry, while delightful, has nothing to do with cooking or being hungry or anything associated with the title The Hungry Cook.

What do you think? What should I name my new Etsy shop? I’m thinking something that reflects the fact that the items will be pretty but not too serious or fancypants…that leaves room to expand a bit into non-jewelry items (say, other types of accessories)…that is somewhat memorable or easy to spell….that hasn’t already been taken…that hopefully reflects my personality and/or aesthetic a bit. Kind of a tall order! Suggestions??
