Warm weather foods

It’s finally heating up in Boston and everyone’s excited. Personally, I’m addicted to Skinny Cow lowfat fudge ice cream bars, but every now and then real food is in order. I’m thinking one of these recipes might need to be on the menu this week:

Simply Recipes’s sauteed shrimp with warm tropical salsa

Vegan YumYum’s potato salad with herbed dijon vinaigrette

101 Cookbooks’s hummus en fuego (although Trader Joe’s mediterranean hummus is my go to!)

I’m also craving chili oil roasted whole pod fava beans from Ubuntu in Napa. Mmm….so good. Where’s a girl to get favas in this town?
