School hasn’t officially started yet, but Orientation is in full swing. When I first read that we had a week and a half of orientation, I got all excited thinking that we must have a lot of fun stuff to do. I was thinking specifically along the lines of Boston city tours, Red Sox games, trust falls, bar nights, etc. Instead, I got tons and tons of homework and have already started classes that are real and actually count for units/grades. Boo.
It has been nice getting to know some of my classmates, though. Maybe the intensity of the workload is like fraternity hell week…you know, tearing us down to build us into a better team. Whatever the rationale, the best part has been meeting people and making new friends. Now if only we had more time for those bar nights!
