The next best thing to homemade

I have to rave for a moment about the tortillas at Trader Joe’s. Obviously, they’re not as good as my own tortillas, but on a weeknight when I’ve got plenty of other things to do besides making my own, they’re just right. (Trader Joe’s actually has a couple of different kinds of tortillas, so be sure to get the ones that have the word “homemade” in the title.) They were perfect with the fajitas I made last night using the leftover steak from the night before, a frozen chicken breast, and plenty of onions and bell peppers (and cilantro from the garden). I stirfried the whole shebang (chicken and onions first) with some cayenne pepper and season salt and it was delicious. Also served up some black beans, jazzed up with onion and cumin, and fresh guacamole. A quick and tasty mid-week dinner.
